MAC - In Synch

For a lot of people, MAC's products are out of reach, because if you're a student, or have bills etc to pay, the thought of spending £12.50 on a lip liner can just seem ridiculous, But I think that with certain products it is definitely worth paying that bit extra. A lot of people put MAC in comparison to other high end brands such as Chanel, Armani. YSL etc, but I don't think that there is a brand that every single item will be perfect for every individual, and for me, MAC hit the spot with this one.

I am a lover of a nude lip, where I am quite pale, bright lips can really bring attention to this, so I stick to my trusted 'my lips but better' shade, so Thomas and I wandered into MAC, as I needed a lip liner that would work with a lot of my lipsticks, and this one was actually chosen by Tom.

It is a perfect nude shade, with somewhat peach tones, I have tried and tested this, with all of my favourites, and it works with them all, I think the closest match is MAC 'Well Loved', which on the lips are exactly the same! I think that the drugstore liners can be perfect if it's just for one specific shade, for example at MUA you can pick up a liner for just £1, but if you're looking for more of a transitional shade then I would definitely look into investing in a more workable shade.

£12.50, available here

lots of love,
Jess xxx
