Favourite Freebies

Hey lovelies,

it's been ages since I've posted! My wifi is playing up at home, so I had to wait until I went to Thomas'. But anyway, on with today's post...

Wanting to stay up to date with the latest make-up trends/products etc, can really take am affect on your purse, but if you look properly, there are so many ways if obtaining amazing free items, and I thought I'd share just a few of my favourites with you!

Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion

I got this free when I purchased the Naked 3 Palette, and I think it's really good that ugh give you this! It says that it provides 4 weeks of primer between the four testers, and that's amazing for a free tester! I haven't had a chance to try these out yet, as I'm havering a massive skin clear out, so I'm trying to stick to the same products, but as soon as I'm fully happy with my skin, I will 100% be trying this out! after Bering such good reviews of the product! You get four variants, which are ORIGINAL, EDEN, SIN and ANTI-AGING.

Eyeko Lash Curler

This is my favourite freebie!! This is available in this months Instyle magazine, so hurry and get it before the next issue comes out! This is by farrago best lash curler that I have used, and it's so pretty, if you can call a lash curler pretty? The handles are a deep blue felt, and the whole product overall doesn't feel too hard on your lashes, and gives an amazing effect. This product is actually limited edition on the Eyeko website, and is on sale for £12, so quickly pick one up whilst you can for free!

Lush Cosmetics Package

I've always been a massive fan of LUSH, and when I had an issue with one of their bath bombs, they generously sent out an amazing package to me all complimentary! It contained lots of colour free products, and a hand cream as that was the main problem that had occurred. I received Tisty Tosty, Amandopondo, Helping Hands, Sultana of Soap, and also a Butterball. I couldn't believe how generous they had been, and you can also obtain some freebies from going to your local store and asking, you can get a tester of anything but the bath bombs/bubble bars etc.

So there are my favourite freebies that I have received recently, and please let me know of any bargains you have discovered recently!!

It's my birthday on Monday, and I'm spending the whole day shopping, so expect a haul... Haha!

Another E.L.F Haul

Hey guys!

I've been really bad, and after discovering that E.L.F Cosmetics had really good deals on, I may have made a sneaky order... oops!

However, I did pick up some amazing bargains, and I thought I'd show you all them, I know I said that there was an Eye Accessories post coming next, but I'm not sure if I'm going to do it anymore, hence why this is first! :)

I did an E.L.F Haul a couple of weeks ago, and you can find that here. I love E.L.F as it's so cheap, but the stuff is a really good quality, meaning that you can justify buying more ;).

The offers I received were £10 off a £25 spend, and also 2 free gifts throughout April if you spend £15, and they worked together, meaning it would have been rude not to place an order... right?

                                                        Fan Brush

I've seen these absolutely everywhere, so I thought it was time I tried one out, and at £1.95, I didn't really mind if I didn't like it, but luckily I do! The brush is very fine, and I think this helps create a matte look, but doesn't give you a caked look, and even though it does say that you can use it for applying colour to the cheeks, I think I'll keep mine just for powder!

                                                  This is just £1.95!!

I already use an all over face primer, but I wanted one specifically for eyes, as since purchasing Naked 3, I've put a lot more effort into my eye make-up, so wanted to ensure that I was going to get the best results! I really like this product, as it blends very well, and really does work to help lengthen the time your eye make up stays for.

This is just £1.95.

I absolutely love this nail varnish, it is such a perfect shade for spring, and reminds me of one from Tanya Burr's range, pastels are always perfect for nails, whatever the season, so this is now one of my firm favourites!!

This is £2.50

This shade is just as gorgeous!! It is perfect to co-ordinate with your outfits, but also just to brighten up a darker outfit, it's such a bright colour, and I can't wait to wear it!

This is also just £2.50

I managed to pick this up in the sale, and I think this is the perfect shade for a night time/more formal look, but due to the shimmery shades within the purple, it makes it slightly more exciting than if it was just a plain purple. But don't be deceived, as it loooks a lot brighter on the website than it does when it arrives!

This was just £1!!!!

I don't know the exact product name for this, as this was one of the free items, and doesn't appear on the invoice, but it is a really nice lipgloss, that when put on, only requires the smallest amount of product, and gives a really good glossy look, but doesn't leave the lips sticky unlike some others out there.

This was a free item

Like I mentioned, I've gained a new obsession for eyeshadows, and this one was just gorgeous! It comes with a really handy little brush, which is perfect for detailing, but not if you're sweeping across the lid, but it's such a lovely shade, perfect for a nude eye, and I love the packaging for these shadows!

This is £3.95

I picked up a couple of shades for this product, as they are all just so gorgeous, and so wearable on a day to day basis!! This is a Bronze-ish shade, perfect for applying through the crease, or on the outer lid for a smoky eye look!

This is £3

I nearly purchased this product, but thought I would wait until next time, as I didn't want to buy all eye shadows, but regretted it instantly, meaning I was so happy when I received it as my other free item!!! I really didn't expect to receive two amazing free products like I have, and I love this eyeshadow, this is definitely for an evening look, with a bold smoky eye, as it very dark grey/black, meaning that for me personally, I wouldn't wear it everyday, but it will definitely go to use!

This was my other free item!

I love this shade, and think that it will work perfectly with Seductive for a really dramatic eye, or even with a nude eye, to give it more of a shimmer, as it is a silvery shade, and it's so pretty!!

This was £3

I think that pressed eyeshadows are always handy, as they are a lot easier, and less time consuming to apply that mineral ones, this is a brown-ish shade, with purple tones in it, and also a hint of shimmer. I would work this with a very nude shade, to create a natural look. On the website, it looks purple, so I was a bit suprised with the difference of shade, but I will still use it!

This is £3.50

This picture does this duo no justice, as there is a very pale purple shade, and a darker shade, that is almost a plum, I love these duo's, as the colours are so well matched, and it means that you can create a whole look without having to spend ages opening up loads of different products. Last time I got the Butter Peacan Duo, and I've wanted this one since! They also sell cream versions, but I personally much prefer pressed shadows, as I think they are easier to apply! These are absolutely amazing for the incredible price!

This is just £1.95

So there we are guys, I absolutely love E.L.F and would 100% recommend them, and they have a new offer of 50% off when you spend £30 at the moment as well as the two free products! I got all of the above products for an amazing £15.30 plus p+p.

April Glossybox

Hey guys,

I completely forgot about this months Glossybox, so it was a lovely surprise when it arrived today!! So sorry for the disruption of planned posts! But I'll make sure I still upload them! Overall, I did like the box, but it wasn't the best I've received, but I did get some really nice bits!!

MONU Spa - Warming Ginger Massage & Body Oil

At first I was sceptical about this product, but after smelling it I can't wait to try it out!! It smells lovely, and even though it's not something I'd normally purchase, but I might start trying out more often!

This is £25 for 100ml and available from monoushop.co.uk

MeMeMe Cosmetics - Beat the blues; Pearl Pink

At first., I thought that this was a nail varnish, oops... But it even has a brush like a varnish!! It says that it is a highlighter, and can also be used to add a bit of shimmer into your foundation.

This is £5.50 and is available from mememecosmetics.co.uk

He-Shi Professional Tanning - Face & Body Gel

This is my least favourite of the items, as I don't use fake tan, but I'm going to try this one out, and hopefully get a nice natural glow ready for summer!

This is £7.95 for 50ml, and available from he-shi.eu

TRESemmé - instant Refresh Cleansing Dry Shampoo

I love dry shampoo, and think that they are a perfect summer essential to keep your hair looking good in the hot weather!! My friend said that she tried hers out and didn't like it, but I'm going to give it a go and hope it works!!

This is £4.99 for 200ml and available from tresemme.co.uk

EMITE MAKE UP - Lip brush - L312

This is my favourite product this month, this brush is so soft, but also the size means that it'll be perfect to get a perfect look. I nearly brought a new lip brush yesterday off E.L.F and I'm so glad I didn't! I personally wouldn't pay this much for a brush, but I do really like it!

This is £17 from emitemakeup.com

So there we are, that's what I received in this months Glossybox, I'm really excited for next months!

Coming soon - Eye Accessories, E.L.F cosmetics.

The Liebster Award

Hey guys!!

I've been meaning to do this post for around 3 weeks now... oops!! But Jaylee was lovely enough to nominate me for the Liebster Award!

If you’ve not heard of the Liebster Award before, it’s something that gives us bloggers the chance to reach more people, and you readers to find out more about us!
The rules are:
1.You must link back to the person who awarded you
2.You must answer the 11 questions given by the nominee before you
3.You pick 11 nominees with under 200 followers to answer your questions
4.You cannot nominate the person who nominated you
5.You must tell your nominees that they have been nominated by you
Here are my answers to her questions -
1. What inspired you to start blogging?
I wanted a hobby for ages, and I've been reading blogs for so long, so I finally gave in, thinking that no one would ever read it ;)
2. What are your top three favourite beauty brands?
It's so hard to choose :( but I'd definitely say E.L.F Cosmetics, as its so affordable but high quality, and then Maybelline, which is a standard priced brand, with high quality products, and finally Benefit, as their products are so gorgeoous, and have amazing results!

3. Pick your ultimate go-to outfit.
Ooo, I've always loved skater skirts in the colder months, especially paired with a leather jacket, but I think a good pair of jeans are a wardrobe necessity, with a nice warm jumper, and a statement necklace!
4. Be honest – is there a popular fashion/beauty trend that you don’t like?
I cannot stand wedged hi-top trainers, I think they just look vile, and it annoys me so much! haha!
5. What camera do you use for your blog pictures?
I just use my iphone 5 camera at the moment, because I've managed to misplace my camera somehow :( but I'm hoping to get a new one soon!
6. If you had to pick between Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest, what would you pick and why?
It would have to be instagram, as I think it's really interesting being able to have an insight into someone's life purely through photographs.
7. What is your favourite song at the moment?
After recently seeing Boyce Avenue again, I just can't stop listening to their songs, I love both their originals and their covers, but I'd say that at the moment my favourite has to be their cover of Demons - Imagine Dragons.

8. What would you like to achieve by the end of the year?
I'm hoping to pass my first year of uni haha!! But also, I want to change my reading taste, as at the moment I prefer to read contemporary novels, so over Summer I want to read more 'classics', and I also want to invest in more 'high end' products, and hopefully move onto buying my own URL!
9. If you could collaborate with another blogger, who would you pick?
I would love to do a collaboration with Tanya Burr or Zoella, as theirs was one of the first blogs I started reading, and they look like so much fun!! But I loved doing a collaboration with Joanna, and we're already planning another!
10. What three pieces of advice would you give to someone that is thinking of blogging?
To put your fears aside and just go for it!! I was so worried that people were coming to be nasty about it, but I've had such a good reception, and now I love blogging, and planning new posts for you all! Have confidence in yourself!!
11. If you had to parachute out of a plane with any animal, what would you pick and why?
Oh god, it would have to be either a duck or a sheep haha! I absolutely adore them both, and they're just adorable!!

And I nominate -
Joanna Sprinkles                    Sophie's Vanity
Jessica Whatley                     Small Girl Big Dreams
My Life CHH                           Sara Belleza Beauty
Monelle                                 SIan Seccombe
Lucy Jane Webb                  Christina
And your questions are girls -
1) What is your favourite part of blogging?
2) Do you think it is better to have your own URL, or to use blogspot/wordpress etc?
3) Which of my posts is your favourite and why?
4) If you could only use one beauty product for the rest of your life what would it be?
5) Do you think it is necessarily 'good' to use editing techniques when using swatches etc?
6) Is your blog your main excuse behind the purchase of many beauty items? like me... ;)
7) Why did you begin a blog?
8) Do you prefer high street or high end beauty products?
9) What do you prefer, beauty or fashion?
10) Would you ever consider a subscription box, (such as glossybox)?
11) Do you prefer creating posts on a laptop/computer or tablet/phone?

So there we are! Good luck on your posts, and I hope you've all enjoyed reading my responses! Don't forget to tag me in and let me know when you've done them so I can read them!!

Urban Decay - Naked 3

 Hey guys,

Recently I discovered this website called www.cohorted.co.uk, and it quickly became my new favourite!! Basically the idea is, the more people but the product the cheaper it gets, so you might by it at £20 for example, but if it's less when it ends, that's the price you pay!

I was lucky enough to pick up the Naked 3 Palette for the amazing price of £18.50, which was the minimum price on this product, but half price on such a sought after product is amazing!!

I love the packaging of the palette, it's so pretty, and in my opinion much nicer than the first two, the rose gold shade matches the lovely pink shades inside.

I think this palette is the more wearable in a day to day way than the two previous, but also easily transferable for a night out. You receive a range of shades, from the more neutral base shades, to the shimmering blendable ones.

I've only used it a couple of days so far, but my favourite look has been strange for the base, and liar to blend on the outer edge of the lid to bring attention to the eye, and to make the colour really stand out.

You also receive a really nice brush in the palette, with one end being slightly bigger, which makes it perfect for applying a base shade.

The other end is slightly smaller, making it perfect for blending in a shimmery shade on top, and I'd stay that this end is slightly firmer, ensuring that you  get the perfect application.

Overall I absolutely love this palette, and I will look into possibly purchasing more of the Urban Decay range.

Please pop any questions about the palette or Cohorted below, and follow me on bloglovin'

Coming soon - The Liebster Award, Eye Make-up Accessories.

Bristol & Boyce Avenue

Hey guys!!

I've had such a lovely weekend, so I thought I would give you a little insight into what I got up to!! We had tickets to see my favourite band; Boyce Avenue, and decided to make a weekend of it!! Boyce Avenue are amazing, and if you haven't heard of them, then check out their youtube here.

This is Tom from when we had a lovely dinner at Bella Italia in Cabot Circus :)

Bristol has such amazing artwork throughout the whole city, and this was definitely my favourite that we saw, its amazing!!

Boyce Avenue were incredible. It was the fourth time I have seen them live, and the second tine at the Bristol O2 Academy, and I prefer this venue than the others we've been to. It's all standing, so we had to make sure we got there very early, in order to be right at the front, and we were!! Because those had meet and greet tickets obviously went in first, we were second row, which was amazing. It's so much better being so close to them, and they were so so so good!

Monday morning, Thomas took me to the aquarium, which is so much fun!!! This is my favourite picture I took haha!! We were stood there looking at them, and then this one just started sliding up and down the glass right infront of us! Look at its face!!

Thomas brought me the cutest octopus from the gift shop, I love it so much!

We did a bit of shopping briefly on Sunday, and we returned to Cabot Circus again on Monday, and after discovering a voucher for a free cookie, we decided to pick up a milkshake too! They were so yummy!!

I picked up quite a bit of shopping, so thought I'd show you all!:)

O.P.I Shatter Nail Varnishes

If you've read my previous post, you'll know that I keep finding amazing beauty bargains in pound shops, and I made my best one yet in a 99p shop!! I managed to pick up these O.P.I Shatter Nail Varnishes, and I couldn't believe my luck! I got the last two colours, which are gorgeous, and I can't wait to try them out!

They're normally £11.95, meaning I made a massive saving of £10.96 each!!

Yankee Candle

I just couldn't resist the temptation of Yankee, and I'm glad I couldn't! I've wanted a tart burner so ages, and I absolutely love this one!! It's so pretty, but simple at the same time, it was just £4.65, which is really good, and of course if I had a burner then I needed some tarts! Some of these were reduced to an amazing 94p, and others to £1.25, and I picked up these scents; Honey Blossom, Lake Sunset, Baby Powder, Sweet Strawberry, Pineapple Cilantro, Fruit Fusion and 2 x Black Cherry. They all smell divine, and I'm burning the Honey Blossom tonight!!

American Sweets

We found this amazing american sweet shop, and it was a lot cheaper than those local to us that stock similar items! We picked up a few of our favourites, and also some new bits for us to try!! The Red Vines are disgusting, and we only had a little nibble each, and can't bring ourselves to attempt any more!!

We also tried a Twinkie, and neither of us liked that either!! It tastes so weird!

Hollister

Hollister had an offer on for students to get 20% discount, so it would be rude not to go in? ;) I picked up these flip flops, which I've wanted since last summer, and this amazing Body Mist, it smells so good, and even though it is a bit pricey, its definitely worth it!

Flip flops are normally £15, and the Body Mist £12

Pull & Bear

I brought this lovely jumper in Pull & Bear, it look a lot brighter in this picture than it really is, its more of a pastel pink when you see it, and its so soft, and perfect at the moment whilst its still cold and rainy.

It was just £22.99

Primark

I managed to find this lovely pillow in Primark, its so fluffy, and comfortable!

It was a bargain at just £3

Overall, I've had such an amazing weekend away, and I've still got lots of things to look forward to! it's my birthday on the 28th, and we're off to Alton Towers in May!

Coming soon - Naked 3 Palette, The Liebster Award.

Skincare Haul

Hello lovely bloggers!!

I hope you all enjoyed my lovely guest bloggers post!! we're already planning another one for the future, so keep a look out!

Anyway, today's post, at the moment Tesco have got a massive sale on all skincare, so I couldn't resist, and thought I'd take a look! I'm always worried about my skin, but can't afford to spend ridiculous amounts on skincare, so was ecstatic when I found these bargains! I did pick up a few other pieces, but this is based on the Nivea products only.

This is my first experience of day creams, and I love the affect it is having on my skin! It make it so soft, and is just generally improving the appearance of my skin. I would definitely recommend this lovely product, and especially combined with the Night Cream.

This was £1.99 from £3.99 in Tesco
(Sorry, Tesco's website doesn't have all the products, so I've located them on Boots, so you can see them, but do go to Tesco as they're cheaper!)

Similarly to the Day Cream, this was my first experience, but it certainly won't be my last! I love this product, as it is really refreshing, and makes your skin ready for a long nights sleep to get rid of those bags!! Again, even though I've only been using this a few days, I can already see the difference in my face.

This is £1.99 from £3.99 in Tesco

I have already mentioned this, when I first purchased it in a previous post, but I thought I would mention it again, as it is part of my Nivea haul. I've used a few BB Creams in the past, and this is one of my favourites, at times I prefer BB Creams as they give the same coverage, but feel a lot lighter on your skin.

This is £2.99 from £5.99 in Tesco

I definitely saved the best until last with this product, I've only ever used No7 Primer before, but this one is the only one I plan on using in the near future! It makes your skin so flawless, and you get such a big pot compared to the tiny tubes you receive from most. It has a really good coverage, and the perfect base for your make-up!

This was £2.49 from £4.99 in Tesco

So there is my skincare haul, I made such good savings, and found some really good products!! I also plan on trying to only wear make-up for roughly half of the week, which is a big step for me, as I never leave the house without a full face on!! But I've managed it for half of this week, and it's just allowing my skin to clear itself of all toxins, and I can already see my skin improving!!

I have a couple of posts lined up, my Naked 3 Palette should arrive tomorrow, so I will be reviewing that, and I also have my Liebster award to do aswell! But as I'm nearly at 2000 views I thought I would save it for then!

Thank you for reading, and please ask me any questions/give me any recommendations, and leave your link below too!!
